In the Beginning
The design is based on the seven days of creation and is worked in hand and machine embroidery, appliqué, piecing, using a variety of threads and fabrics.

Day 1 - light and dark
Day 2 – sea and sky
Day 3 – land and plants
Day 4 – day and night, sun, moon and stars
Day 5 – birds and fish
Day 6 – animals (66 of them) and man
Day 7 – God rested
The frame is of cherry wood
